The fire swears it's your truest life. Right now, it's leading you somewhere false.
There is a version of you that Spirit is already touching, and it's the still one; it isn’t grasping.
There is also a version of you that burns to chase and be seen chasing, and it’s convinced that its inner fire is your truest life, and it’s leading you toward something that isn’t what it looks like.
The reading isn’t saying to want nothing. It’s telling you that right now, in this time window, the reaching is the illusion, and the stillness is the contact. The loud, confident hunger in the middle is the thing you need most need to recognize and not follow. Come back to the you that doesn’t have to chase. That’s where Spirit already is.
You are not one self, with one set of wants. You are at least two, running at the same time, and they feel identical from the inside, even though they are pointing in different directions.
Right now, in this specific window, your wanting is aimed at an illusion, and so this is not the season to trust the aim.

In this particular time window, desires tend to be skewed towards illusion and, therefore, untrustworthy.
The reaching is the illusion, and the stillness is the contact. The moment you tip forward into wanting, you’re in the illusion. The moment you rest into being, you’re already in contact with your true self, your true desires. There is no travel time.
You only have to notice, right now, which of the two states you’re in. To see that you’re grasping is to have the option, in that second, to stop and drop back into the you that’s already in-tune.
When you see the loud, confident hunger at this time, recognize that it is an illusion. Simply recognize it, and don’t follow it. The move isn’t to war with the hunger. It’s to see it clearly enough that it loses its authority over you.
Recognition is the whole defense. Naming it strips the power, because its only power was the disguise.
Come back to your most true self. What you’re looking for was never ahead of you.
The still you, it’s already in tune, it’s not a destination, it’s home.
The entire message is that you left it to go chasing something that shimmered, and all you have to do is turn around and it’s right there. Exactly where you set it down.
